About us
About All About Chimney Sweep and Repair
A local chimney company focused on one part of the house that most people only think about when something goes wrong.
Who we are
Local. Focused on chimneys.
All About Chimney Sweep and Repair is a chimney company based in Tampa, Florida. We do four things: chimney repair, chimney sweeping, chimney inspection and chimney cleaning, for homes in Tampa and the Hillsborough County areas around it.
Chimneys on the Gulf coast live a different life than chimneys up north. They sit through a long, humid summer of thunderstorms and lightning, a hurricane season that runs from June to November and a few cool nights in winter, and many fireplaces are lit only a handful of times a year. Water, humidity, salt air near the bay, fallen leaves and nesting animals are the everyday problems here, so that is where we look first.
We keep the work straightforward. We look at the whole chimney, explain what we find in plain language, and tell you what needs attention now and what can wait.
How we work
Why we do the job the way we do
A chimney is a safety system as much as a piece of masonry. These are the habits we bring to every visit.
Respect for your home
We protect the floor and hearth before tools come out and leave the work area clean when we go.
Honest findings
We explain what we see and what it means. If something can wait, we tell you it can wait.
Work to the standard
Our inspections follow the three levels of NFPA 211, the national standard for chimneys, fireplaces and vents.
Where we work
Seven areas, one base
From our base in Tampa we work across Hillsborough County, from Temple Terrace and Brandon to Valrico and Riverview.
